- What are these LOLcats and LOLcaptions?
- How do I submit my pet pictures?
It's easy to submit your pet pictures! Just click here and upload your picture directly from your computer. After you submit your first pet picture, you can log in and add more! See, easy. :) Please do not upload copyrighted images.
- How long does it take for my picture to appear on the site?
ALL submitted pictures are reviewed and must be approved. We try our best to moderated them as soon as possible. It usually takes from a couple of hours up to two days for submitted pictures to be approved.
- How do I add a caption to a picture?
Below each picture there is a link to "add caption". Click on that link then: 1) enter your caption text, 2) pick the cats/kittens from the pictures so we will know you are human and not a spambot, then 3) click "Add LOLcaption". Your caption will then be queued for moderation before it is posted live on the site.
- I added a caption but don't see it on the picture?
All captions must be approved by the picture owner before they appear on the site.
- Why can't I put my email address or website URL on my pictures?
Some unscrupulous websites or porn sites would immediately start doing it too in hopes of roping in unsuspecting users onto their spam email lists. You wouldn't want that, would you? Neither would we.
